The Trust's mission, as an instrument of town government, is to promote the town's affordable housing priorities as determined through the most recent town housing plan, particularly to create safe, decent, and affordable housing for our most vulnerable populations.
The Amherst Municipal Affordable Housing Trust presents a LIVE Zoom meeting covering AMAHT goals and accomplishments that will take place Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 6:30pm to 9pm.

Hailing from the Amherst area, local artist Gillian Haven spent 20 years of her career living across the country. Now based in Pelham, Haven sat down with Amherst Media to discuss her creative process.
In the summer of 2024, Amherst Rec launched their adaptive swim program. Their goal to make the pool, a notoriously stressful setting for those with sensory difficulties, more inclusive for all.
With the original location closed for renovation, the Jones Library has been settling nicely into its new temporary location on University Drive.
