Enjoy our first edition of the 'Rewind', designed and written by our Social Media and Journalism interns!

Please enjoy the first edition of the 'Rewind' magazine.

The 'Rewind' magazine was created to showcase intern works from the semester, highlighting their creativity and journalistic prowess.

The design was led by this semester's Social Media Interns, Kelsey Diggins and Parker Kiersten, who developed a graffiti or paint splatter style theme.

The stories in this edition were as diverse as they were thorough, including two exclusive opinion pieces written by Journalism Coordinator Intern Selene Bonafini, and veteran Sports News Anchor Tyler Beraldi. Other writers included Corinne Arel and Ariana Gonzalez from UMass, Jade Mosely of Smith College, and Asa Khalid of Hampshire College. These interns not only reported on these stories in the weekly episodes of the Amherst Weekly Report, but also recreated these works for print.

Last but not least, the magazine also highlighted our production interns, Regina Bian, Anna Whitney, Madison McGrath, and Charlotte Fishman, who all contributed to the production and post-production of the Amherst Weekly Report.

Together, the team created various works that pushed them to learn new skills and fulfill new roles.

We whole-heartedly thank our interns for their hard work this semester and look forward to what they will come up with in the Spring.
